“Ha ha ha! You won’t stop me this time, Sonic!” Eggman shouted.
“Don’t count on it, Eggman! It’ll be like always.” Sonic taunted.
Eggman felt confident this time for sure. His new machine was a giant version of himself, as most of his robots are. The difference is that this robot had a chaos emerald integrated into the chest of the machine. Eggman triggered the missile launchers from the robotic fingers and fired three missiles at Sonic. Sonic jumped and knocked the first one to the ground. As it exploded, the blast sent Sonic flying into the air. He crashed into the second missile, completely reversing it back to Eggman and destroying the robot’s left arm. Sonic fell and landed on the third missile, guiding it back to the robot’s legs, blowing them up. The robot fell to the ground, but the head and torso remained intact.
“Oh no, Sonic! Please don’t take my emerald from me!” Eggman pleaded.
“Heh, that was so easy, I almost feel bad taking it from you.” Sonic said.
Sonic hopped onto the torso and moved toward the emerald. As he reached for it, he heard a whirring sound.
“Ha ha ha! I have you now!” Eggman fired a laser, shocking Sonic and sending him to the ground. Eggman opened the cockpit and jumped out. He laughed to himself as he slowly approached the unconscious hedgehog lying on the ground.
